A Stronger Canada & A Stronger Community.
Canada is at a crossroads. While Donald Trump threatens our values from abroad and Pierre Poilievre works to divide us at home, we need leadership that will keep our country strong and united.
Mark Carney and the Liberal Party are standing up for Canada — and Amy K. Gill will do the same for Vancouver Kingsway.
For updates from the campaign, see Amy's Facebook or Instagram.
Amy is a Chartered Professional Accountant and accomplished Chief Financial Officer with over 14 years of experience in both the private and social-impact sectors: managing complex budgets, driving community development, and building partnerships that deliver results.
A proud second-generation Canadian, Amy was raised in a working-class immigrant family, growing up on the family blueberry farm and working alongside her parents and siblings—who know what it means to work hard for the Canadian dream.
Amy’s career spans government, tech, housing, and non-profits. Her experience includes analyzing capital budgets, leading tech rollouts at startups, navigating housing approvals, and managing high-performing financial teams. Amy has a proven track record managing budgets and aligning them with organizational strategy.
Amy’s current role is at the Vancouver Chinatown Foundation, where as Chief Financial Officer she is charged with maintaining the organization’s financial sustainability while managing financial risk. The Vancouver Chinatown Foundation is dedicated to building a more resilient and sustainable community by promoting the wellbeing of those in need, while preserving Chinatown’s irreplaceable cultural heritage, through affordable housing, seniors housing, and cultural and economic development.
Amy is an active community leader, having served on numerous boards throughout her career. She currently serves on the board of RainCity Housing, which focuses on accessible housing, mental health and addiction support and recovery, and DIVERSEcity, an organization that welcomes and supports new immigrants and refugees with a wide range of resettlement services. In the past she has volunteered with Peacegeeks, dedicated to leveraging technology to help immigrants and displaced people, and the Surrey Food Bank.
Amy represents a new kind of leadership, one that connects local lived experience to national policy, and pushes for systems that work for everyone, not just the well-connected.
This election will decide what kind of country we want to be. Donald Trump's tariffs are threatening Canadian jobs, and Pierre Poilievre wants to let it happen. I'm running with Mark Carney and the Liberal team to keep Canada strong - and to make sure Vancouver Kingsway has a bold, experienced voice in Ottawa.
